That\u2019s why our WPC stands out on the international stage, having earned FSC\u00ae certification with a 70% blend formula. This label indicates that the wood used in Woodn products comes from FSC\u00ae-certified materials, recycled sources, and\/or controlled wood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The procurement process is complex, and we carefully trace the journey of materials from forest to shelf (the chain of custody).

ENERGY NEEDS AND WATER CYCLE<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The production plant, based in Treviso, covers an area of approximately 14,000 sqm and is powered by a photovoltaic system that meets 100% of daytime energy requirement. 3,000 sqm were dedicated to the installation of photovoltaic panels, enogh to produce approximately 311,000 kW\/h\/year.
The water used to cool the 9 extrusion lines is managed by a new generation closed-cycle system. The water is collected, cooled and reintroduced into the cooling system. AWOOD planks are fully recyclable, meaning they can be transformed back into WPC and subsequently into new planks and systems.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n


Through a specially designed machine, the material is first sorted by color, then fed into a grinder to be turned into granules, ready to be reintroduced into the production process.
This marks the completion of a closed-loop cycle, demonstrating the company\u2019s commitment to a truly circular economy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is being finalized and will become an essential tool for implementing integrated product policies, along with the publication of an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
